They are three separate plans, not one combined plan, so you choose the single window that fits your home. Overnight from 11 PM to 6 AM with Free Nights, daytime from 10 AM to 4 PM with Free Days, or all weekend from 12 AM Saturday to 6 AM Monday with Free Weekends Plus. Every plan is 100% renewable with a low, fixed rate the rest of the time.

Free hours cover the energy charge on your plan. Delivery charges from your local utility and any base charge are passed through at cost and shown on your Electricity Facts Label (EFL) before you enroll.

No. None of Chariot’s residential plans are prepaid. Free Nights, Free Days and Free Weekends Plus are fixed-rate plans with a set term. You use power first and receive one bill a month, with your free window applied automatically. If you are comparing prepaid options, the difference is this: a Chariot free plan locks your rate outside the free window for the whole term, while many prepaid products carry a variable rate.
Chariot may perform a credit check as part of enrollment. Depending on the result and the plan selected, a deposit may be required. Deposit waiver options are also available.
